Gerber file guidelines

The following table indicates the suggested format for gerber files. Should you require more specific information with regard to exporting the gerber files, please contact us directly and we will gladly assist.

The following files need to be submitted in order for us to manufacture your printed circuit board:

No: Name Description
1. NC Drill File Contains XY drilling co-ordinates for cnc drilling machines
2. Top Silkscreen * Contains the component outlines and/or values for the Top Silkscreen
3. Bottom Silkscreen * Contains the component outlines and/or values for the Bottom Silkscreen
4. Top Solder Mask * Contains areas where the solder mask ink should not cover
5. Bottom Solder Mask * Contains areas where the solder mask ink should not cover
6. Top Layer * Contains the track layer and pads/vias for the top layer
7. Bottom Layer Contains the track layer and pads/vias for the bottom layer


* optional depending on your printed circuit board requirement.
All layers are viewed from the top of the printed circuit board, do not mirror layers.

All layers must be checked with a gerber viewer before submitting them for production, visit the client area for a gerber viewer.
